Preparing Recipes With Garlic Mustard

It is obvious that the mustard has the taste of bitterness along with the natural healing potential but the bitterness can be neutralized by preparing recipes with proper procedure.

Here we will be mention the procedure to make recipes using mustard:

Garlic Mustard Pesto:

The Garlic Mustard is very good recipe for winter. The Pesta is the only better way to beat the bitterness of Garlic Mustard.
To prepare Garlic Mustard Pesto, we need the following:
• 3 cups of Garlic mustard leaves
• 3 or 4 garlic cloves
• 1/3 cup of olive oil
• Optionally 1/3 cup of pine-nuts
• ¾ teaspoon of salt.
Mix all the above ingredients and put them in the food processor, switch on the processor to make them well chopped and will appear darker green paste. Salt can added more if needed and keep it aside for 3 to 4 hours. This recipe will taste wonderfully with pasta.

Mondo Bizarro di Garlic Mustard:

This is another variant of pesta, tomatoes are used in place of olive oil in making the Garlic Mustard liquid.
To prepare this, we need the following:
• Garlic mustard – 3 cups
• 4 garlic cloves
• Half teaspoon of salt
• 2 cups of fresh or canned tomatoes
Put all of the above ingredients in the food processor, run the processor so as to make it liqueur pesto. Salt can added to it for taste. For achieving concentric flavor for the recipe, it would be better to dried tomatoes.

Maple-Garlic Mustard:

The mustard recipes can be experimented and prepared in various forms. The flavor of sweet can neutralize the bitterness of raw Garlic Mustard.
To get the good quality in it preparation, we need:
• Whole yellow mustard seeds – one cup
Garlic Mustard Vinegar – one cup
• Maple syrup – one-fourth cup
• Minced fresh Garlic Mustard – one cup
• Salt – Half teaspoon

Put the mustard seeds in Garlic Mustard vinegar and soak them for several hours then add rest of the ingredients and let it sit for few days. Put it into ¼ pints jars, storing it in fridge will retain its quality for several months.
